Alice Babcock Pearce made Delray Beach her home in 2010. Born and raised in New York City, she received her undergraduate degree in Visual Arts and Communications from Duke University. She is co-owner of J+B Projects LLC that specializes in home development, renovation, staging and interior design. The early part of her career was spent as photography editor for Time Inc. magazines, including ten years at Entertainment Weekly. In addition, she was the founder and curator of Gallery at The Factory, an alternative art gallery in New York that featured contemporary painting, photography and sculpture. In her spare time, she enjoys oil painting, tennis and travel. Ms. Pearce has served on the National Advisory Council for Reynolda House Museum of American Art in Winston-Salem, NC and a director of The Stephenson Pope Babcock Foundation, as well as the fundraising committee for Paul's Place in Delray Beach. She joined the board of The Delray Beach Historical Society in 2016 and is excited to be part of preserving Delray's unique charms and history. She is married to FW Pearce and has two children, Isabel and William.
